"My overall teacher training experience with Mara at Concord Pilates was very rewarding. My training took about 6 months as it is very in depth and time consuming but worth the wealth of knowledge and experience that I gained.
One of the main components of the training was the hours involved in the studio with observation and teacher assisting. This really gave me the opportunity one hour at a time to soak up the information and the little details that I might miss from reading a book or watching a video. I originally considered taking a weekend workshop, but I'm really glad I decided to start this apprenticeship instead. It gave me the opportunity to come back to the trainer each day with questions as the information slowly sunk in one day at a time.'
Mara is very thorough with all aspects of the program and I am amazed at how much I learned about the anatomy of the body. She was always quick to respond through email when I had a question and available before or after class to discuss my homework. She is a very knowledgeable and talented Pilates instructor and a great teacher. I would highly recommend her teacher training program. You will come out of it confident and ready to teach Pilates."
